Donore Goes Solar!

Recently as a part of our mission to become more sustainable, we installed 46 solar panels on our roof. At the initial stages of running the solar panels we are already generating more electricity than we using and in addition to this we also have a battery that can store 10kw. All the additional electricity that we are generating from these solar panels we can sell back to the grid.

This is one of the many steps that we have taken to make our building more sustainable.
Future projects include new windows and improved insulation in our building.

On the 31st of May, 2024 our solar panels produced 94.61kWh, while we only consumed 56.91kWh. Within a period of 24 hours, only 12.46% (7.09kWh) of all the electricity used was sourced from the grid overnight.
