Brendan Lynch Scholarship
The Brendan Lynch Scholarship was established in 2018 and is a partnership between Donore Credit Union & Griffith College Dublin.

It was established based on the findings in our "Social Return on Investment" report which was published in 2020.

Membership
Grew membership of the Credit Union by 6% to 4,776.

Issued 1,530 new loans totalling €5.8 million andOffered nine types of loan products ranging from €100 to €150,000.

Organised some 20 prize draws, supported 16 community groups.

Continued to provide free insurance and offered three types of savings products for members.
Aingil Ni Bhroin Scholarship
Aingil and her sister Treasa were the driving force behind the establishment of Ireland's First Credit Union here in the Liberties, Dublin 8. It was their courage and vision in 1958 that laid the foundation for the nationwide credit union movement.

The community fund is an initiative designed to support projects within our common bond for social, cultural or charitable purposes.
- Kevin's Hurling & Camogie Club 2021/2022 - Donation to the Donore ABC Nursery to help with funding of sports gear & equipment for boys & girls aged 4-7.
- Warrenmount Primary School 2021/2022 - Contribution towards mural artwork on the school grounds.
- Liberties Festival August 2022 - Funding for the Blue Rinse Ball for the senior residents in the local area.
- Oliver Bond Celtic Football Club July 2022 - Funding for the transport & accommodation for their game against Derry.
- Liberty Weavers June 2022 - Donation to support their event at the Tenters 100 festival in Oscar Square
- Maryland Community Association June 2022 - Project funded the refurbishment of the Maryland Grotto.
- Shannon's Hopeline May 2022 - Funding towards educating young people & families about the importance of mental health & suicide prevention.
- James's Street Secondary School May 2022 - Donation towards students sports & activity day.
- Morgan Haydon November 2021 - Recipient of the Brendan Lynch Scholarship in partnership with Griffith College Dublin.
- Eric Lysaght November 2021 - Recipient of the Aingil Ni Bhroin Scholarship.

- Pieta House May 2021 - Donation for the Darkness into Light fundraiser.
