Donore Credit Union Achieves JAM Card Certification

We’re proud to share that Donore Credit Union is now officially JAM Card certified. Our staff have completed training to better support people with invisible disabilities by recognising when someone may need a little more time, patience, or understanding.

The JAM Card - short for “Just A Minute” - is a discreet tool that helps individuals communicate their needs in everyday situations, whether it's at the shop, on public transport, or while visiting our office.

This certification is part of our ongoing commitment to making Donore Credit Union an inclusive and accessible space for everyone in our community.

Rolling out JAM Card across branches has revolutionised banking for many people, including the elderly. Customers use it to signal discreetly that they need ‘Just A Minute’ of patience and support – and trained staff immediately know how best to provide it. Many financial services providers consider it an essential investment for ensuring accessibility.
