The European May Day Bank Holiday is on Thursday 1st of May 2025.

As Thursday 1st of May is a European bank holiday (although a normal banking day in Ireland), payment files will not be processed by the European Banking Authority (EBA) on that day.

Therefore, there will be no incoming files sent to credit unions on the Thursday 1st of May and any outgoing payment files forwarded by credit unions on that day will not be processed until the morning of Friday 2nd of May.
