DASC Afternoon Information Session
You are very welcome to join the Donore Area Sustainable Community (DASC) Afternoon Information Session taking place on Saturday 24th January from 2:00pm to 4:00pm in Griffith College, South Circular Road (Room AF 104).
This event will showcase a range of sustainability projects currently happening across the Dublin 8 area and highlight practical ways the community can take action.
Speakers and contributors on the day will include:
eTownz – specialists in community energy planning
Community Roots – promoting food growing through garden sharing
Trees for Tenters – encouraging the planting of native trees and greenery
Sophie von Maltzan – environmental artist presenting a short film created with local school children exploring ways to improve the Tenters neighbourhood
SEAI Energy Clinic – with SEAI mentor Gerard Doherty available to offer advice on retrofitting and energy efficiency
We’ll also share insights from DASC’s Vision Workshop, along with sustainability projects developed by students from the UCD Innovation Academy.
This is a great opportunity to learn more about local initiatives, connect with community groups and experts, and explore how you can get involved in shaping a more sustainable Dublin 8.
We hope to see you there!
