Credit Union Art Competition 2026 – A World of Colour

The Credit Union Art Competition 2026 is now underway, with this year’s theme “A World of Colour” inviting participants to explore the colours, experiences and perspectives that make our world unique.

Artists are encouraged to interpret the theme in their own way, drawing inspiration from nature, culture, everyday life or their imagination. From vibrant landscapes and bold compositions to the subtle beauty found in everyday moments, the theme offers endless opportunities for creativity and self-expression.

Now in its 43rd year, the Credit Union Art Competition continues to champion creativity at every stage of life. From young learners to lifelong artists, the competition celebrates the power of art to connect, inspire, and bring people together.

Categories and Age Groups

The competition is open to entries in two categories:

• General Category

• Additional Needs Category

Each category is further divided into five age groups (based on age as of 31 December 2026):

• 7 years and under

• 8 – 10 years inclusive

• 11 – 13 years inclusive

• 14 – 17 years inclusive

• 18 years and over (Adult)

Entries will be judged on originality, creativity, and interpretation of the theme.

All artwork must be hand-drawn or painted; digital artwork will not be accepted.

Local winners will progress to regional and national stages of the competition
