Thank you to all our members for the continuous support in 2023!

This year was very eventful for Ireland’s First Credit Union, we celebrated our 65th anniversary, hosted the Community Awards, won a couple of awards ourselves, introduced mortgages, launched the Donore Area Sustainable Community and even had Minister Jennifer Carroll MacNeill over to visit the office on 22 Rutledge Terrace

Each day between the 10th - 22nd December, we will select one winner at random.

2023 Customer Experience Awards

In October, your Credit Union won the 2023 Customers Experience Awards in the Finance Category. As a relatively small independent Credit Union we won over other finalists including Community Credit Union, Tullamore Credit Union, Cornmarket and PTSB (Permanent TSB).

A big thank you goes out to our staff members who are the ones that provide the excellent customer service to our members on a daily basis.

Senior Members Christmas Dinner

On Friday the 8th December, we held our annual Senior Members Christmas Dinner in St. Catherine’s Church on Thomas Street. Thank you to all the local businesses including Aloft, Teelings, Dublin Liberties Distillery, Signature Florists (Cork St) and Massey Bros for sponsoring spot prizes for the raffle that took place on the evening.

Volunteer of the Year

Our very own Agnes Heffernan who has been on the Board of Donore Credit Union for nearly 30 years won the Volunteer of the Year award in the ‘All Ireland CU Awards’ which took place in October.

Thank you for everything Agnes - you are an incredible asset to the Credit Union.
