Guaranteed Irish Business Awards

In March 2026, we were shortlisted in two categories at the Guaranteed Irish Business Awards 2026. Donore Credit Union won 1st place in the Small Business Category and came in at 2nd place in the Professional Services Category.

The Guaranteed Irish symbol is the national symbol for trust. The licenced mark is awarded to businesses that support jobs, local communities, and are committed to Irish provenance.

Customer Experience Awards

Donore Credit Union has entered the Customer Experience Awards in the Finance Category on two occasions, in 2023 and again in 2025, winning 1st Prize both times.

In 2025, Donore Credit Union was was up against other Irish Credit Union, as well as PTSB and Bank of Ireland Investments.

This followed our success in 2023, when we won the category against Permanent TSB, Cornmarket and two larger community Credit Unions.

CXI Award & SDG Ambassador

For a record-breaking 10th consecutive year, credit unions have topped the league table for best customer experience in Ireland, according to the Customer Experience Insight (CXi) Reports.

We are also actively promoting the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in the office and wider community. This has been acheived by displaying SDG boxes in the office and installing SDG planting boxes outside schools, churches, residential areas, the local college and the office.
